Ken Squires

Senior Pastor

Pastor Ken Squires and his wife, Danice, come with more than 25 years of ministry experience. They are passionate about life application Bible teaching and creating strategic environments that make faith real and alive every day. They are skilled in developing a church culture that grows around a common vision. Their leadership gift encourages followers of Christ to find their mission in Christ.

Ken served as Lead Pastor of Marysville First Assembly in Marysville, WA, for 16 years and as Executive Pastor at Visalia First Assembly in Visalia, CA, for 3 years. He has a Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, as well as a Master's of Divinity and a Master's of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ken's newest love is missions and mountaineering all at the same time. Yearly, he takes church leaders to Nepal for elevated ministry and high adventure climbing.

Danice is passionate about ministry to women. She recognizes that women have unique needs in today's world. Her heart's desire is to see women know the truth of God's Word, and to find freedom, purpose and value in Christ. She has served at various levels of women's ministry for the past 19 years.

Danice graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Her favorite thing to do is read. Her motto is, "So many books, so little time."

Ken and Danice met and were married in the great state of Texas. They have been married for more than 20 fun and crazy years. They love ministry, missions and traveling. But their greatest love, next to God, is their children. They have four wonderful kids: Kenny, Rebekah, Jesse and Joseph. They keep them laughing (and broke).
